David S. Soliday's Short Biography

David Soliday grew up in Litchfield, Connecticut in the foothills of the Berkshires. He earned a degree in Cultural Anthropology from Amherst College, Amherst, Massachusetts and began to seriously photograph while working as an expedition mechanic for Land Rover in Nepal, Africa, and Iceland.

After a brief stint as a stockbroker in Philadelphia, he moved to South Carolina and became a professional photographer specializing in landscapes and ornithology.

In the early 90’s, Soliday brought his "nature" inclinations into his commercial work and began specializing in resort-development projects, producing strong images of golf landscapes, architecture & interiors, lifestyle and aerials.
